Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson hails from the US and is an actress, producer and writer, singer/director. Her most famous part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she has directed, produced and performed in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Benson also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson, her mother was a psychologist as well as a Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8, 1977. Danielle is her older sister, and is an artist. Her father, Benson's was Jewish as was her mother was Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to the Reform church in Alabama. Benson is a performer in numerous movies and TV shows since Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar. Behind the camera she used her writing abilities to work on the Ghosts of Albion series and was the director on shows like The Killing Jar in 2010 and Drones. Buffy After putting in hours and efforts to locate them, states there are around 1800 Slayers all over the world, and 500 who are part of their organization, the Scooby Gang. Slayers become active when their potential is mature enough. Soledad for example became an Slayer at the age of 16. Ruth Connell plays Rowena, in Supernatural's Season 10 She is apparently a mysterious, old-school Witch.
